This issue is due to your user ID not having permission to complete the requested action. There are three possible ways for CATS to block your access to functions. The meaning of each action is described in the sections below.
If you cannot see a menu item that another user can access, you simply do not have the rights to access that menu option. Speak to your supervisor about your access to CATS.
You may see this message pop up in the top-right corner of your CATS screen when attempting to perform various CATS functions. Note the letter or number of the right (e.g., A
, 4
) that CATS is informing you of and bring this message to your supervisor's attention.
Certain functions in CATS can only be performed after entering a password. These functions include:
You will see a message that pops up in the top-right of your CATS Screen.
Type the password and hit the [Enter] key to continue.
If you do not have the required password, press the [X] key on your keyboard and the action will be canceled.
