Traffic reports pull in information based on the location screen or marks. They can also pull information from the main contract records, item, and invoices.

In addition to using the Location, Date Ranges, and other filter options,

you can use the Report Type filter to make a report in one of the following categories:

• Afloat - Shows all material with AF in the Location 1 field on the location screen.
• Warehouse - Shows all screens with WH in the Location 1 field.
• Exdock - Shows all screens with XD in the Location 1 field.
• WH Insurance - A specialized report that finds all items without a sales invoice that entered the warehouse during the current month, based on the Date in WH on the location screen. The Sales Invoice date is used to determine when material left the warehouse.
• Open Destination - Displays all items with no destination or the destination you have chosen to mean ‘open’ in CATS.
• Marine Insurance - Another specialized report that keeps track of which items were AF during the month, using either the ETA date or the BL Date. Once the marine insurance report for the month has been finalized, the Marine Insurance date is placed on the location screen. This report can then be made into a vendor invoice.
• When you buy FOB, you have to insure marine insurance. Sale is FOB means buyer has to insure for marine. Contingency insurance is used for cases when you normally do not pay insurance, but wish to insure material at a (usually) lower rate.
• Traffic/OpenFut - The most used setting, this one shows all items with any traffic information (AF, XD, WH, etc.) and unshipped futures items. Use this filter and narrow it down with other filters to ensure you get all records.
• All Traffic - Shows all items with any traffic information at all on the screen.
• Open Futures - Displays only future items (items with no location information at all).
• Collateral - Shows location screens that have been chosen as collateral on loans.
• …and several other report type options.
