The fall update contains new features and improvements to make managing various lines of business easier.
Special Contract Numbering Administrator users can configure different contract types that have their own customizable numbering scheme.
Age-Based Valuation Valuation aging allows automatic valuations of inventory based on the age of the inventory
User Configurable Hotkeys Users can now configure the hotkeys in CATS to their own preference.
Fixation Window Un-priced contracts now have an optional “fixation window” which specifies a number of months prior to the shipment period when fixation will be allowed.
Flags on Item Screen CATS now lets users see and interact with the contract's flags from the contract item screen.
Improved Column Selection improved interface for picking and ordering displayed columns to suit your needs.
This release incorporates a brand new report type: the Invoice Interest Report which makes calculating late fee charges a snap. It also includes several quality of life improvements.
Invoice Interest Report A new report is available to calculate interest for late payments that incorporates partial payments and interest roll-up receivables.
Invoice Surcharges Surcharges are a new type of entry that can be added to invoices.
Automatic “Carry” Invoice Items automatically calculate carrying costs for inventory and add that entry to the sale invoice.
Grade Flags Individual grade/description codes can now be set to prompt for Contract Flags during contract creation.
Overhaul Past-Due Notification The past-due notification service now incorporates the new invoice interest reporting tool to generate more accurate and comprehensive notifications.

The July update brings a pair of significant UI changes that we've been working on for a while and we're very excited to share with the CATS community. The brand-new Print Dialog makes setting up your output a friendlier and faster process. The newly designed mobile menus make working with touch-based devices much easier.
